Yu Lan Michael-Liem

Ever since I was 6 years old, I knew that I would someday become a dentist. In my eyes, there is nothing more amazing than to enjoy your dream by making it come true! I seamlessly connect with my patients, partly because of the innate empathy I feel, but also because of the years of experience I’ve gained within the profession. Making a patient’s visit as pleasant as possible is a welcome challenge that I gladly accept. After all, there are enough people who are not happy about crossing the threshold of a dental practice.

My dental practice is a family practice with a long history.  I took over for my father (2011), just as he had done with his parents’ practice (1975). Although the dental practice has become quite a family tradition, our practice is a modern company and we use the most up to date treatment methods.

We have an answer to almost every patient question and I see my company not only as a family practice, but also as a practice for families, for every patient. Everyone is welcome at our practice, and whether you’re young, old, or somewhere in between, we are here for your dental needs. We’re happy to help you with standard, routine check ups, as well as with more difficult issues or aesthetic concerns. I like to see that everyone goes home with a better smile.

Some facts about Yu Lan:

• Yu Lan completed her secondary school at the Sint Ignatius Gymnasium in Amsterdam. She followed that with her dental training at ACTA (2001).
• She worked in various practices in the Netherlands (Amsterdam and Amstelveen) and in Germany (Landstuhl). As a result, she is proficient in Dutch, English, and German.
• In addition to her position as a practitioner and dentist, Yu Lan is also a wife and mother of 2 fantastic boys.
